Volgens de regulars en organisatie komt deze in de top drie zwaarste in twintig edities - van wat al bekend staat als de zwaarste van Nederland. Drie lappen strand, heuvelige en deels onverharde duinpaden en -trappen. Maar pas echt de hel was de wind. Windkracht 6 tegen, tot aan de tank bij Westkapelle. Slopend.
Maar goed, de finishlein bereikt en marathon nummertje negen in de pocket!
